Cartier love

I have always been in love with the Cartier LOVE series.... The love bangle especially. In the past 5 years, I was tempted to get it for a few times but in the end I didn't cos I wanted it to be given by my husband ( I wasn't married back then). A LOVE to be screwed on by him and you cannot take it off by yourself!! Isn't that romantic?

Well.. I am turning 30 next year.. Not sure if my husband will get me a love bangle then but for now I will be content with my little love necklace in RG.

Goodbye Chanel .. I will miss you

It is kinda sad that I am going to let go these two Chanels. The Black Lambskin Jumbo was my very FIRST Chanel!! I still remember how excited I was when I got it for Christmas back in 2007 during the trip to Sydney. The grey-ish purple-ly metallic Reissue 227 was my second Chanel.. my heart skipped a beat when I saw it on the shelves in Chanel Hong Kong.

 I am still not sure if these are the two I should let go out of my 6 flaps..(pic showing below, the M/L red flap is gone already). To be honest I really wanted to keep them all... but I am no longer working, I am now a full time mum. I am really trying to make myself let go of some of my bags if I wanted to get a new one. I guess that will make me think twice or three times before I buy something in an impulse.

Anyways here are the two Chanels I think I will let go, for the metallic 227 and Black lambskin jumbo. Let me know if youre interested!!

A reminder - the metallic Reissue is with double flap and the black lambskin is with a single flap. Chanel has only reintroduced double flap to their classic jumbos since 2011.

My third H love

After having a Birkin and a Kelly... I realized I am loving Kelly more because of the shoulder strap. Looking through people's blog and here at tpf, a bag has started creeping on me... At first I thought it looks very mature but now I just cannot stop dreaming about it. Can you guess what it is?
Yes its a bolide!! I wanted a winter bag and since my Kelly is in gold, I decided to get a black one this time and it has to be in size 35 and ghw!! So I took the plunge and called all the stores here in Hong Kong....
There is only 1 available in Hk, it's in black but it's a 31. I'm disappointed but still went in to take a look cos I havnt seen it in real life..
I went into the store.. Tried it on.. Thinking for a 31 it doesn't look small at all it looks perfect.. And it's with ghw... In the end guess what? The SA made a mistake it's actually a 35!! In black + Clemence+ ghw!!!! It's the exact one I'm looking for!!!

My latest obsession!!

Ever since I saw these pictures from the web.. I cant take my mind off ones of these Hermes Bangles "clic clac"

Particularly love the combination in the first picture.. A white ghw clic clac matching with the famous Cartier LOVE bangle. The white clic clac looks so elegant so I had to take it home when I saw it in the store! Hoping one day.. my DH will get me a love bangle to go with it :)

Goodbye and say hello to......

Being a mum, I find I hardly have any chance to use my medium flaps. Maybe because I feel that I'm bigger than I used to be so the bag is looking a bit small on me. Or Maybe because I feel older and less chic cos I hardly dress up anymore for dinners. With my DS all I wanted is comfort clothes...At the moment I am always using my Bottega Veneta- veneta hobo bag. It's easy, I just dump everything I need into it like Wallet, hand lotion, tissue, umbrella, keys and a bottle of water...  BV uses quite soft leather so I kinda feel bad trashing my bag like that..

In summary, I find myself in need of a big casual bag.. As a Chanel lover.. Of cos Chanel would be the first brand I looked into.... GST seems like a good choice but it's a bit too boxy and looks mature on me... Don't really want a seasonal bag either cos I always regret on seasonal designs......then I saw this tote bag... Which kinda looks like a GST.. Has quite a few compartments... Not as square and boxy.... It has all the classics elements.... They call it a Timeless Tote..

I liked it so without much thinking I took it home with me:)

Goodbye 09A m/l flap ..

Day out with my Kelly and Baby :)

It has been a long time from my last post... Been really busy with my little one... Now that he is sleeping through the night from 11-6 ( well... Most of the nights) ... I now have abit more energy during the day to do more things apart from sleep+Sean+sleep+Sean. So yesterday... It was Sean's 100 day birthday... I took him out to do a little shopping and managed to have afternoon tea :)

My wedding rings!!

Finally I have got my E ring back!! I miss wearing it so so much... It has been 5 months!!!!!! From being pregnant to post birth I waited so so long for my fingers to get bk to their normal size.. Until one day I managed to get it in but had to go to the jeweler to cut it off cos I couldn't get it off!!! But that was still not the worst part... He said well We cant fix the ring . Will have to make a new ring....Awww my heart was broken...

So in the end... I told him to build the new ring using the similar design but without the sharp corners so it's safer when I'm holding my baby.

Anyways... So so happy that I can wear my rings again.... My new wedding band/ celebration ring and E ring :)

My dear Kelly

Introducing My new dearest friend Gold kelly 32.

Wearing it to my OB after birth check up appointment :) My DH thinks my new friend looks super mature on me... he prefers the Birkin he bought me......To his comment.. I totally DISAGREE!! I think the Kelly is actually more chick and casual .. somehow more low profile... and I have to say I love the gold colour... 

With the Birkin? In fact I still havnt figured out what outfit to go with the Birkin I got.. It just doesnt feel as casual just by the looks of it.... hahahha..... maybe this is just me?? anyone else agrees with me here?

Sean's one month birthday

Time flies... It feels like its just yesterday when my DS is still in my tummy and guess what?! He is now one month old!! We went to my mum and dad's for his birthday celebration... and we got him his very first birthday cake!!

When we got home, My DH handed me a little blue bag..... and I saw a little blue box inside it... 

Awww... he got me a celebration ring. He said he knows I wont be able to fit into my wedding band anymore... so this celebration ring can be my new wedding band and it also symbolizes the birth of our little boy :) That is very sweet of him...... but i still hope I will be able to fit into my wedding band one day... cos it means alot to me.... for now... I will be wearing it as a necklace... and that .. it is closer to my heart :)

My long lost fun..

It has been a very very long time for me to be able to shop around by myself... Today I got very lucky with my mum looking after Sean, and he has been a very good boy... slept for most of the afternoon while Im out for my Dr appointment and able to do a little retail therapy for myself!!

I have always wanted a Birkin but could never justify to myself in paying so much for a handbag. But finally I have found myself a very good excuse in getting one.. hahaha... yes... a present for myself for having my first baby. A little celebration and reward for all the push efforts!!


I have been contemplating for a very long in the colour/ hardware combination I wanted for my first Birkin.

I have always wanted a Etoupe with GHW then I saw the Gold colour which I think it looks really really nice as well... But I got myself a Taupe Chanel flap not long ago so I thought I should get the Birkin in another colour so that my collection of handbags have a variety in colours. For Gold colour, after many thoughts... It sure is a very nice colour and definitely a good colour for a very long term use but maybe its kinda too mature for me now??

Looking at TPF and then I found this Candy Birkin 35 in Etain/ Blue Thalassa..
OMG.... The combination is TDF!!!! Love the blue interior... it is more playful!! I think I will have alot more opportunity to wear this bag..



Anyway.. enough of my mumble jumble..

In the end.. My Dear Husband paid for the bag as a push present :) It is so sweet of him..

2012.2.12 My little boy is born

This is my little boy - Sean, 8.7 pound born on the 12th Feburary.

So what happened?
It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. After a delicious dim sum lunch with my family, me and my hubby decided to go to the department store to do a little more shopping for our new home. We arrived the car park of the department store, walking towards to the lift lobby then I felt a gush of water leaked. Yes!! Thats the water.. it broke..there is so much water !! I was literally dripping while i was waiting at the hospital lift lobby.
we got to the hospital around 3 and my little boy is born around 8 in the evening :)

I have to say.. Epidural was so good... i did not feel any pain from the contractions at all .. So it was all nice and cruise-ie up till the point where the Dr stopped giving me more drugs cos I need to feel the contractions to push!! PUSHing was the worst part of the labour... It was so so so sore!!

BUT........ Look at him..... it was all worth it... my little angel :)

casual day out

A casual day out with my mum today and we went to this cafe close to home for lunch.... reminds me of home... sigh... I miss New Zealand... I miss cafe food and I miss my good cup of coffee!!

When I wasn't pregnant I always told myself that I cant slack off and look ugly when I get pregnant one day. However in reality I have to admit being pregnant does put you off from dressing up or even putting on any make up!!

Why??

Well... I guess cos you just dont feel like yourself when you put on over 15 kgs of weight and carrying this huge belly around and walk like a hippo with these swollen elephant legs.... sigh.....
